Mom’s Quit Connection for Families

Quit for Kids Smoking Cessation Program

Quit for Kids is a free, statewide smoking cessation program offered by Family Health Initiatives. Quit for Kids is a specialized program for pregnant individuals, moms, dads, and caregivers of children seven and younger, who want help to stop smoking. Quit Coaches meet with clients to help them begin to reduce and quit smoking.

Sessions are unlimited, include incentives and are scheduled at the convenience of each client. Individual quit plans, as well as a plan to help you stay quit are created in partnership with your quit coach. 

Quit for Kids services are available

Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

Quit for Kids accepts self-referrals through the toll-free number            888-545-5191,, and facebook.

Quit For Kids Texting Support Program

  • Free texting help to quit smoking

  • Access to live Quit Coach

  • Pregnant women, parents, family members and caregivers of children under the age of 8


A trained Quit Coach who has years of counseling experience will listen – without judgment – and help you to create a plan for quitting, including how to cope with cravings and ways to avoid slips and relapse.


New Jersey residents now have access to 11 Quit Centers. These quit centers provide residents of New Jersey with Free resources and support to stop or reduce their use of tobacco.


The 11 Quit Centers are located in the following counties: Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland/Salem,  Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth Ocean, Essex, Passaic and Union.

Enrolled clients of the Quit Center

may qualify for FREE nicotine replacement therapy as part of their treatment plan.
